I've spent hours testing and enjoying with varied smartphones, and my conclusion was that the T-mobile G2 was simply the best. My earlier telephone was a fairly basic Motorola, and after attempting the G2, iPhone4, Evo 4G, Samsung Vibrant and the Droid 2, I decided that the G2 is your best option out of them all if I have been to maneuver up to a smartphone and there is only one phrase to describe why:
Consumer Friendliness.
The Android OS on this telephone is as primary as it gets, meaning there isn't any other software program that clutters your interface and slows down your phone. This latest version of Android often known as Froyo (or version 2.2) permits the OS to be compatible with nearly all the latest apps on the market which means there's little worry about compatibility. The buttons and touchscreen are all very responsive, and there is nearly no delay in opening applications/app or shopping the phone. The charger plug is mini-usb, which suggests it's appropriate with many chargers by other producers and that saved me money as a result of I didn't need to buy a new in-automobile charger. Battery life can also be excellent, and that's an enormous deal for me as a result of I hate to worry about my phones working out of juice if I'm in an emergency. I normally last the whole day while not having a cost even with heavy usage.
The very best part is that the phone's OS syncs with your gmail/google and Fb accounts and this makes SET UP A BREEZE. I personally hate to change phones as a result of I always spend hours setting up the machine, including pictures of my buddies and their emails into my contact list. On startup I had the telephone sync with my gmail account and Fb account, and once I copied my contacts from the SIM card, the telephone started to add photographs of my contacts from Facebook, and it additionally added their emails from my e mail account and consolidated all that into my contact list. It was really easy that I used to be blown away.
There are many other aspects of the cellphone that I feel make it nice, such because the strong construct high quality and the convenience of a very nicely designed qwerty keyboard (it has nice spacing so it still felt comfy for my large hand and fingers). A quality qwerty keyboard like that is exactly what I have been in search of in a smartphone that also has a touchscreen. The aluminum items and the tender contact plastics definitely give it a premium feel. T-cell's service can be unbelievable, as I mainly entered the store, and exited with my new phone in lower than 20 minutes. By the time I obtained dwelling I was also able to make use of T-cellular's internet network referred to as HSPA, which was VERY FAST in the LA area. I'm unsure if it's as quick as 4G like T-cell claimed, but it was positively faster than any 3G telephone I've tried. There have been barely any delays when watching Youtube movies and shopping the the online was a snap. The one draw back is that the HSPA service remains to be developing, and it simply does not attain some suburban areas like my house. It isn't a big deal as a result of I've WiFi in the house so I do not really want HSPA at home.
In my opinion a phone needs to be all about convenience and consumer friendliness, and this telephone definitely delivers in these two categories. This is the most versatile I've ever used and I have good feeling I will be using this cellphone for quite a protracted time.
